Tattoos can often seem like a good idea at the time, but as life changes so do our feelings towards them. It may be in the wrong place and causing embarrassment or be unpopular with an employer or a loved one.
Whether the tattoo has been professionally applied or is an amateur, we can permanently remove or fade it so that another tattoo can go on top.
How To Remove Tattoos
Firstly, many places are advertising the removal of tattoos, but are they qualified. And what types of removal system are they using?
The two most effective methods of tattoo removal are Laser and Sublimation; we use a combination of both. And our laser technicians are BTEC qualified.
The laser uses light energy to fade the coloured ink. Very similar to how the sun fades colours, but more intense. Where in contrast Sublimation uses an electrical current to dissolve the skin and turn it into a gas.
Our technicians will discuss the options with you during your consultation.
How Many Treatments
The number of treatments you will require will be based on the size and colour of the tattoo. On average you will need at least eight sessions to fully remove the tattoo and less to fade.
What To Expect During Treatment
Laser treatments can be very uncomfortable and due to the intense heat usually, require the skin to be cooled either with ice or a cooler. Sublimation is less painfull as the area is numbed with a topical anesthetic.
You will be given full instructions in respect of aftercare, before and after your treatment.Book Now
